Take a big step forward in your artistic or design career by expressing yourself with concrete. See why the PPC Imaginarium Awards provide the ideal platform for aspiring creatives.

Cash Prizes

With total prize money at R500 000, the PPC Imaginarium Awards is one of the most rewarding opportunities available to emerging artists. With heavyweights such as Hannekke Schutte and David Tlale judging the work, participating artists will be recognised by the cream of South Africa’s creative industry. The deserving winner of each of the categories will receive a cash prize of R50 000. On top of this initial prize, winners will then be entered into the auspicious gala exhibition and stand the chance to be named PPC Imaginarium Champion, a title that also comes with a R100 000 grand prize.
Runners-up need not be disheartened, as they will get a merit award of R15 000.

The Right Kind of Exposure

As an aspiring artist, the PPC Imaginarium Awards is the perfect platform to get the kind of exposure a creative needs to launch their career. Throughout the competition, entrants and their work will be profiled on a host of media platforms such as magazines, radio, TV, blogs and other social platforms. We strongly believe in celebrating the work and successes of exceptional entrants and feel the best way to do this is by giving them great exposure across multiple platforms.
What could be more rewarding for artists and designers than having their work exhibited at Young Blood Gallery? Or – as with the overall winner – having their work displayed at Design Indaba in February 2016? There’s just no better way to kick start your career!

The PPC Imaginarium Awards is fortunate enough to work with some of the most influential leaders in the fields relating to one or more of the 6 PPC Imaginarium categories. All entrants will receive the unique opportunity to be mentored by these thought leaders – giving you a truly invaluable experience.
