My collection is to hopefully convince people to save more water and start thinking about a better, more sustainable tomorrow.

A more sustainable future is the message that I want my collection to convey.

According to new research, a third world war will most likely be fought over water. Water is vital for human beings to survive and is crucial for irrigation, domestic and industrial use - the fashion industry included. From fibre crops, to fabric dyeing and washing clothes at home, fashion needs water.

Using exaggerated A-line silhouettes, I have mixed PVC plastic with cement pieces to create my collection. Hand-sewn nylon rope and cement straps will serve as interesting detail and create a cohesive look.

Although intended for exhibition purposes only, my collection will contribute to a more sustainable environment; by using PVC plastic and cement there is no need to wash the garments, therefore saving water.

The vision I have for my collection is to hopefully convince people to save more water and start thinking about a better, more sustainable tomorrow.
